Our Story Productions
Our Story Productions was founded in 2007 as a multimedia company dedicated to celebrating the vibrant essence of small-town life and championing local businesses through captivating storytelling. It all began with the launch of the community-focused TV show, "Our Story, Small Town Living at its Best," which highlighted local attractions and the unique charm of Martin County, MN. With the support of local volunteers, the show introduced a soap opera spoof, "As the Corn Grows," which garnered significant press coverage and fueled further expansion. Building on this success, the show was rebranded as "Destination Small Town," expanding its reach to feature over 1,500 small towns located in the nine states of the Midwest.
In addition to "Destination Small Town," Our Story Productions developed and produced two local TV shows: "On the Road to Our Story" and "Martin County on TV," and published a limited-edition magazine titled "The Road to Our Story."
In the spring of 2021, amid the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, OSP paused production of "Destination Small Town," opening the door to create a variety of episodic TV programs for various organizations throughout Martin County. Today, they produce shows like "Imagine Martin on TV" (an artistic series), "Out of the Past" (a history series), "AgriCulture" (a agriculture series), and "Veterans Strengthening America," among others.
